DJ Brother Bren

I started music sharing back in 1991 when I made mix tapes at university and played them at events and shared them with friends. I actually started DJ'ing in Koh Phi Phi Thailand in 1997 using tapes and cd's.

My taste has changed over the years including progressive house, trance and finally settling now on soulful, groove, funky house that makes you dance with soul. I DJ'd on a pirate radio station in Dublin Nova 947fm alongside friends Niall Redmond and Ronan O. That is where I was christened Brother Bren. In Dublin they like to shorten your name for a nickname.

Since the early noughties I have only DJ'd at home or with friends. I mixed on vinyl, cd's and then digital, we have to work with the times. I started going public again like many people during Coronavirus on Facebook live. I always loved it and want to continue. For the love of house and the love of sharing tunes with others.
